-- about --
this site is a personal archive, family library, and digital home.
asuka.ch is not a startup page, a social feed, or an optimized portfolio. it is a handcrafted place for writings, research, art, links, stories, projects, and things worth preserving.
it exists in the spirit of the older web: personal homepages, quiet directories, late-night reading, handmade pages, small discoveries, and links shared because someone cared enough to save them.
part of this site is practical: professional work, club resources, essays, notes, and archives. but the deeper purpose is more personal. i want one permanent address for the books, ideas, images, research, memories, and cultural fragments that have shaped my life.
in time, i hope this becomes something my family can use too: a trusted shelf of resources, stories, art, and guidance. a place where meaningful things do not disappear into feeds.
☠ built slowly. by hand. on purpose.
-- what lives here --
- research: notes on education, parenting, development, and family life
- art: paintings and images worth preserving
- writings: essays, reflections, and personal notes
- manga: stories with moral seriousness, memory, and heart
- links: a hand-curated directory of useful and beautiful places
-- what this is not --
- not a brand
- not a feed
- not an influencer page
- not a content farm
- not optimized for engagement
- not disposable
-- why keep a personal website? --
a personal website is a small act of resistance against the disposable internet. it is a place where memory can be arranged carefully, where links can mean something, and where a person can leave behind more than scattered posts on platforms they do not control.
this page will change over time. slowly. like a room being lived in.
